Histological and Microscopy services

Our histological and microscopy services cover everything from tissue harvesting and processing to routine or special staining as well as morphological analysis with state-of-the-art imaging equipment.  Through varied histological techniques, our researchers can visually examine DNA synthesis, RNA/microRNA expression, and protein translation in tissues and cells in different tissues and experimental models. Moreover, we can use endogenous cell markers to help distinguish subsets of putative stem cells and stem cell niches.

Explora is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 standards by TÜV AUSTRIA CERT. EXPLORA undergoes annual inspection audits and a re-certification audit every three years to demonstrate its compliance with the standard. 

Biosecurity

Safety and biosecurity are chief priorities of EXPLORA. In accordance EU guidelines, EXPLORA screens all incoming orders against the IGSC list of select agents. This list is based on sequences identified by the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), US Dept of Commerce (USDC), US Dept of Agriculture (USDA), and the Australia Group. We reserve the right to refuse any order.
