When you entrust a project to Explora Bioscience, you can be assured that every aspect will be managed in an ethical manner, in compliance with all European regulations and guidelines.
We follow the Three Rs (3Rs) guidelines for animal welfare: Replacement, Reduction and Refinement. Our in vivo pre-clinical protocols are double-checked by the University of Sacro Cuore’s Ethical Advisory Board and authorized by the Italian National Health Institute. We also adhere to all relevant EU regulations.
We are committed to continuous improvement and have established a Quality Management System, certified according to ISO 9001:2008 standards by TÜV AUSTRIA CERT. We undergo inspection audits annually and re-certification audits every three years to demonstrate our compliance with these standards. Our research facility is also accredited by the Italian Ministry of Health.
All our work is performed in compliance with 21 CFR, Part 58, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines. Our Quality Control Unit (QCU) performs periodic inspections to ensure that all facilities, equipment, practices, records, and personnel adhere to these guidelines.
